BLOOMFIELD — A New York man walked away uninjured after his vehicle struck a utility pole on VT RT 105 late Saturday night.

At approximately 11:07 p.m., Vermont State Police were called to the scene of the accident where they found a 2017 Porsche Macan with front-end damage.

The driver, Brent Bareham, 39, of Rochester, NY, was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision and did not sustain any injuries.

Light snow was falling, and the road was covered with a thin layer of snow, which may have contributed to the crash.

Emergency responders from the Colebrook NH Fire Department and Groveton EMS arrived at the scene as a precaution, but Bareham denied the need for transport to a hospital.

Vermont Electric was dispatched to address the damaged utility pole.

Traffic was minimally impacted while crews worked to clear the scene.
