HUDSON — A standoff at a Speare Road residence ended peacefully on Jan. 11 after Hudson Police Department officers arrested a person who had barricaded themselves inside the home.
The incident began when officers were conducting an active investigation at the house.
The occupant refused to comply with the officers’ lawful requests to exit the premises, even after being informed they were under arrest.
After approximately two hours, police were able to remove the individual from the home.
No injuries were reported to either the subject or the officers involved in the operation.
The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Hudson Police Department.
Officials stated that due to the nature of the arrest, no further information is available at this time.
Authorities expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the temporary road closure, emphasizing that it was a necessary measure to ensure public safety.
