MONKTON — Vermont State Police are urgently searching for a missing 16-year-old girl, Grace Smart, who reportedly ran away from her home around 6 p.m. on Jan. 10.
According to authorities, Smart left her residence at 26 Post Road and was last seen at 55 Post Road on the same evening.
She is believed to be driving a 2015 Nissan Rogue with Vermont license plate KEC981.
The destination where Smart may be heading is currently unknown.
State Police have released a photo of the teenager and are appealing to the public for any information regarding her whereabouts.
Concerns are growing for her safety as the hours pass.

The police ask that people keep an eye out for the vehicle and report any sightings of Smart immediately.
