Man arrested for DUI #2 on I-91 in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — Vermont State Police arrested a local man early Saturday on charges of driving under the influence, marking his second DUI offense.

Jacob P. Roy, 30, from Lyndonville, was pulled over for speeding on I-91 North near Exit 23 at approximately 12:48 a.m. Troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks noticed signs of impairment during their interaction with Roy.

After an investigation, authorities determined that Roy was operating the vehicle under the influence and took him into custody.

He was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Roy was later released with a citation to appear in the Caledonia County Superior Court Criminal Division on Jan. 27 at 8:30 a.m.
