Woman charged with assault, property damage in Guilford incident

GUILFORD — A Brattleboro woman faces charges following an early morning assault on Coolidge Highway, according to Vermont State Police.

At about 6:14 a.m. on Jan. 10, troopers from the Westminster Barracks were dispatched to a Guilford residence where an assault was reported.

The investigation found that Traci L. Beswick, 45, of Guilford, was allegedly assaulted by Lindsi M. Houle, 41, an acquaintance from Brattleboro.

Further inquiries also revealed that Houle had damaged property that did not belong to her.

Houle was subsequently cited to appear in the Windham County Superior Court – Criminal Division on March 25 at 8:30 a.m. She is set to answer to charges of Simple Assault and Unlawful Mischief.
