BETHEL — Vermont State Police arrested a Bethel man on multiple drug charges and an outstanding warrant following a search of his residence Friday morning.
Tyler J. Taitague, 32, was apprehended when authorities, including the Vermont State Police Tactical Services Unit, Field Force, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and Vermont Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at his home around 9 a.m.
During the search, troopers discovered crack cocaine and various other controlled substances.
Taitague was taken into custody on the strength of an active arrest warrant and the drug possession findings.
Following the arrest, Taitague was transported to the Vermont State Police – Royalton Barracks and subsequently brought before a judge to face charges related to the warrant and drug violations.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details have not yet been released.
