HALIFAX — The Vermont State Police are investigating a string of vandalism incidents after multiple Halifax residents found their mailboxes damaged early Tuesday morning.
Authorities were alerted to the unlawful mischief along Jacksonville Stage Rd and Old Stage Rd, where an unknown perpetrator or perpetrators had vandalized the mailboxes.
The incident was reported on Jan. 7 at around 6:30 a.m.
This is not the first occurrence of such activity in the area, with reports of similar acts of vandalism in Halifax and neighboring communities surfacing over the past few weeks.
State Police are urging anyone with information about the vandalism or individuals involved to come forward.
