Suspect in custody for multiple breaking and entering incidents in Roxbury

BOSTON — Officers from the Boston Police Department’s District B-2 in Roxbury apprehended Angel Rodriguez, 43, of Dorchester, near 39 Roxbury Street at about 8:51 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, following a series of break-ins.

Rodriguez was arrested on outstanding warrants from Roxbury District Court, including charges for daytime breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, larceny from a building, and trespassing.

He is scheduled for arraignment at the Roxbury District Court.

The arrest concluded an investigation into a break-in on Jan. 4, where Rodriguez allegedly entered an apartment at 95 St. Alphonsus Street and stole a laptop.

Additionally, the detectives linked Rodriguez to another incident that took place on Jan. 7, involving the theft of approximately $1,700 worth of merchandise from a commercial establishment at 2565.

The Boston Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding these incidents.
