BENSON — Two drivers were injured in a head-on collision on Stage Rd. near the N. Cross Road intersection on Jan. 7 at about 4:45 p.m., according to Vermont State Police.
Logan Hall, 17, of Rutland, was driving a 2013 Dodge Durango northbound when he crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a 2016 Hyundai Tucson driven by 21-year-old Star Ward of Benson.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
The impact left both vehicles totaled and the drivers with suspected minor injuries.
They were transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
The Benson Fire Department and Fair Haven First Response assisted Vermont State Police at the scene.
The road, covered in snow, posed challenges for the responders.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
