CAMBRIDGE — A Richford man was arrested Monday afternoon on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after his vehicle left the roadway on VT Route 109, state police said.
Zachary Herringshaw, 34, was taken into custody around 4:14 p.m. after troopers responded to the area north of Cambridge Junction Road.
According to authorities, indicators of impairment were detected when troopers interacted with Herringshaw.
Following his arrest, Herringshaw was transported to the Morrisville Police Department, where a Drug Recognition Expert evaluated him.
Blood evidence confirmed the presence of a substance that impaired his ability to drive safely.
Herringshaw is scheduled to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on Feb. 5 at 12:30 p.m. to face the DUI – Drug charge.
