Man cited for retail theft at local store in Jeffersonville

JEFFERSONVILLE — On Dec. 4, Vermont State Police were called to investigate a retail theft that took place the previous day at Madonna Mobile in Jeffersonville.

Authorities reported that an unidentified male had entered the convenience store, taken items off the shelves, concealed them on his person, and exited the premises without paying.

Following an investigation, the suspect was identified as 39-year-old Eric Boucher from Morrisville.

Boucher was found and subsequently issued a citation to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on Feb. 26 to respond to the retail theft charge.

The incident was promptly addressed by law enforcement.
