Barton man cited for violating release conditions after traffic stop

BARTON — A local man was cited for violating his conditions of release following a traffic stop on Water Street, police reported.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Derby Barracks pulled over a vehicle on Monday for a motor vehicle violation.

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Jesse Bacon of Barton, was found to be in breach of court-ordered release conditions.

Following the investigation, troopers issued Bacon a citation to appear in Orleans County Superior Court.

He was subsequently released.
