WESTFIELD — On Jan. 7, at approximately 9:12 a.m., Vermont State Police were called to investigate a reported larceny at Rozelle Inc., a business located on Loop Road.
Authorities say that between Dec. 19 and Jan. 7, an unknown perpetrator removed a catalytic converter from a company truck and siphoned approximately 25 gallons of gasoline from its fuel tank.
The incident has been classified as both larceny and unlawful mischief.
The Vermont State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for the theft.
