KENDUSKEAG — A road rage incident led to a three-vehicle crash on Route 15 in Kenduskeag Village early Monday morning, resulting in charges against two drivers, authorities said.

At 6 a.m., the Penobscot Regional Communications Center received multiple 911 calls about the collision.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office reported that two vehicles were speeding prior to the crash, based on witness accounts and statements from those involved.

The incident began when Robert Antonio Barroso-Perez, 26, of Brewer, and a 22-year-old driver from Guilford, were both driving at high speeds.

Barroso-Perez’s vehicle rolled over after colliding with the second vehicle.

A third vehicle, moving at normal speed, was then struck by one of the speeding cars.

Despite the potentially serious nature of the crash, all parties involved refused medical treatment at the scene.

Both drivers were issued summonses for Driving to Endanger.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Kenduskeag Fire and Rescue and Northern Light Ambulance.
