WORCESTER — Worcester Police arrested a man late Thursday night after he allegedly fired a gun inside an apartment building, causing damage but no injuries.
At about 10:17 p.m., officers were called to a residence on Chrome Street where a woman reported hearing a loud bang followed by the discovery of a hole in her bedroom ceiling.
Upon investigation, police found similar damage in another apartment, indicating a gunshot had been fired within the building.
The police located the apartment from where the shot was believed to have been fired and found a driver’s license belonging to the suspect, Scott Larabee, 45.
The subsequent day, Larabee was apprehended inside a business on Grafton Street after officers received a tip regarding his whereabouts.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Larabee faces multiple charges, including carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and defacement of personal property.
