Two arrested on larceny warrants, one for DUI by RI State Police

NORTH KINGSTOWN — A North Kingstown man was taken into custody Sunday evening on a warrant for obtaining property by false pretenses, according to the Rhode Island State Police.

At 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 5, troopers arrested Ryan Charon, 28, of 682 Old Baptist Road, as a result of an investigation by the Scituate Barracks.

Charon was apprehended with cooperation from the North Kingstown Police Department.

He was processed at the State Police Headquarters, appeared before a Justice of the Peace, and was released with a scheduled arraignment in Third District Court.

Later that night, at 11:30 p.m., troopers arrested Jayzon Snead, 19, of 66 Huber Ave, Apartment #3, Providence, following a vehicle stop on Valley Street in Providence.

Snead was wanted on a Warwick Police Department warrant for multiple counts of larceny, including one felony charge for an amount between $1,500 and $5,000, and four additional charges for larceny of less than $1,500 each.

He was processed at State Police Headquarters and handed over to the Warwick Police Department.

Shortly after midnight on Jan. 6, Jose Canario, 34, of 171 Robinson Street, Apartment #3, Woonsocket, was arrested for driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test following a stop on Route 146 in Providence.

Canario was taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing.

He was arraigned and released to a responsible adult.
