GREENLAND — Two individuals were taken into custody by the New Hampshire State Police on charges related to firearms possession and narcotics trafficking following a traffic stop on Interstate 95.
During a routine speed enforcement operation on Tuesday, troopers pulled over a vehicle on I-95 in Greenland.
The subsequent roadside investigation led to the discovery and seizure of a firearm, approximately 200 grams of fentanyl, and 100 grams of cocaine.
The occupants of the vehicle, identified as Abigail Arias Gonzalez, 25, and Justane Garcia, 23, both from Lawrence, Massachusetts, were arrested by troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigations Unit.
Gonzalez and Garcia face charges including possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Following their arrest, both were processed and released on bail.
They are scheduled for arraignment in Portsmouth District Court on Monday, Feb. 24.
