PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Police Department has released its activity report for the week of Dec. 30, 2024, to Jan. 5, which shows officers handled 1,027 calls for service, including a series of arrests for various offenses.
A 39-year-old individual was taken into custody on Dec. 30 for theft by deception involving an amount over $1,500 and an arrest warrant.
The following day, a 43-year-old was arrested for multiple counts of simple assault and disorderly conduct.
On the same day, a 41-year-old was detained for protective custody of an intoxicated person.
As the new year began, a 21-year-old faced charges on Jan. 2 for domestic violence-related simple assault, criminal threatening, and breach of bail.
The third day of 2025 saw two arrests: a 62-year-old for DUI impairment and a 38-year-old for reckless operation and other traffic-related offenses.
The week’s arrests concluded on Jan. 5 with a 41-year-old apprehended for the unauthorized use of a vehicle valued between $0 and $1,000.
In addition to arrests, the department’s investigative reports included credit card fraud, disturbances, tobacco product use by a minor, more domestic violence-related charges, criminal mischief, willful concealment, and unauthorized vehicle use.
Traffic enforcement was also a focus, with the department responding to three motor vehicle accidents.
Officers issued 62 warnings and 8 citations for moving violations.
Parking enforcement resulted in 8 parking citations, although no vehicles were immobilized for non-payment of fines during the reporting period.
