Matthew Grenier joins CNB as Information Security Officer

DERBY — Community National Bank (CNB) President and CEO Christopher Caldwell recently announced that Matthew Grenier has been hired as Information Security Officer.

He worked at Northeast Kingdom Human Services as a Tech 2 for seven years prior to joining CNB.

Grenier joined the Information Technology (IT) industry in 2010. He earned his associate degree in IT from Community College of Vermont.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to secure the bank’s informational assets and putting controls in place to manage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum computing,” Grenier said.

Grenier is an International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) member working to earn a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certificate.

He makes his home in Troy with his wife and son. In the summer months, he enjoys panning for gold in Vermont rivers.
