HANOVER — A man was arrested at Hanover Crossing after allegedly exposing himself to a teenage girl and being found in possession of multiple drugs, according to Hanover Police.
Chief Timothy Kane reported that on Jan. 5, at around 10:08 a.m., police were called to 1775 Washington Street in response to a suspicious man following a female.
The 17-year-old victim was in her vehicle when she noticed a white pickup truck pull up beside her.
The driver, later identified as Justin S. Graves, 219 Deering Neighborhood Road, Springvale, Maine, reportedly stared at her before exiting his truck, exposing himself, and then circling her vehicle.
Graves attempted to gain the victim’s attention a second time by honking his horn and then parked in front of a nearby business.
Officers arrived on scene and the victim provided a detailed description and photograph of Graves’ vehicle, which led to his quick apprehension while still on the premises.
After an investigation, Graves was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness, possession of a Class E drug, intent to distribute a Class D drug, and possession of Class B and D drugs.
He was held on $10,000 cash bail.
Graves was arraigned at Hingham District Court this morning, with a pre-trial hearing set for Feb. 11.
