Salisbury woman faces DUI #3 charge after traffic stop

SALISBURY — A routine traffic stop led to a DUI arrest on US Route 7 near Plains Road on April 1.

Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle driven by Kimberly S. Camp, 53, of Salisbury, at around 9:26 p.m. due to a motor vehicle violation.

During the interaction, troopers noticed signs of impairment and conducted a DUI screening.

Camp was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence and was processed at the New Haven State Police Barracks.

Following processing, she was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Jan. 13 at 12:30 p.m.

This marks the third DUI offense for Camp.

In addition to the DUI charge, she was also cited for a vehicle condition violation under 23 VSA 1221, which carries a fine of $105 and no points.
