Police seek driver after vehicle crashes into Berlin supermarket, catches fire

BERLIN — Police are searching for a driver who crashed a vehicle into Market 32 early Sunday morning, causing a fire before fleeing the scene.

Berlin police and firefighters responded to the Route 302 supermarket around 3:45 a.m. after the vehicle struck the building’s entrance.

The fire was contained to the vehicle and entryway before being extinguished.

Police identified the vehicle as one that had earlier fled from Berlin officers on Saturday evening.

Authorities are searching for Devon Hallock, who was last seen operating the vehicle.
