PROVIDENCE — Two Providence men were arrested on drug charges and other offenses following separate motor vehicle stops by State Troopers on Friday morning.
At 11:03 a.m., Troopers apprehended Shydell Moore, 29, of 260 Sayles Street, for possession of over two ounces of marijuana.
The arrest occurred on Harris Avenue and Moore was subsequently taken to State Police Headquarters for processing.
He was later handed over to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
In a subsequent incident at 12:02 p.m., Christopher Hernandez, 40, was arrested on Harold Street for multiple offenses including a third offense of domestic violence for violating a no-contact order, possession of over 10 grams of a Schedule I to V controlled substance, specifically ecstasy, and operating a vehicle without a license for the fourth or subsequent time.
Hernandez was also transported to Headquarters for processing before his arraignment at the Sixth Division District Court.
