PEACHAM — A single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Peacham Groton Rd and Gov Mattocks Rd led to a DUI arrest for a Windsor man Wednesday evening.
Vermont State Police responded to the incident at 6:12 p.m. where they found a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit with substantial passenger-side and front-end damage.
The driver, identified as 52-year-old David Charbonneau of Windsor, had already been transported to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
After troopers arrived at the hospital and spoke with Charbonneau, they detected signs of impairment.
Charbonneau was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was processed.
He has been issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division and has since been released.
The St. Johnsbury Barracks are continuing their investigation into the crash.
