RICHFORD — A Richford incident led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man for aggravated domestic assault, state police said Friday.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks responded to a Highland Ave address at approximately 5:24 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a domestic assault that had occurred earlier in the day.
An investigation identified Hardwick resident Jakob Lashomb, 22, as the alleged perpetrator.
Lashomb was taken into custody without incident and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.
The Vermont State Police did not release the name of the victim, consistent with their policy on domestic assault cases.
The case remains under investigation, and further details were not immediately available.
