Boston police arrest three juveniles for firearm, stolen property offenses

BOSTON — Three juveniles were arrested early Saturday morning in Roslindale after being found in a stolen vehicle with a loaded firearm and stolen property, according to the Boston Police Department.

The arrests occurred on Jan. 4 at approximately 1:58 a.m. when officers from District E-18 responded to a call about a stolen vehicle tracked to a fast-food restaurant at 327 Walk Hill Street.

When they arrived, they found the vehicle parked in the rear lot with the engine running.

Inside the vehicle, officers discovered a 15-year-old male from Hyde Park, a 14-year-old male from Easton, and a 14-year-old male from Brockton, all asleep.

The officers secured the vehicle and detained the suspects without incident.

During the investigation, officers found a loaded Glock 30 .45 Auto Gen 4 in the jacket pocket of the 14-year-old from Easton.

The 14-year-old from Brockton was found with the vehicle owner’s wallet, which contained various credit cards and identification.

The 15-year-old from Hyde Park was identified as having an outstanding warrant for armed robbery and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

The suspects were booked at District E-18 and are expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on multiple charges, including carrying a loaded firearm without a license, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and receiving stolen property.
