South Windsor woman charged with interfering with police during arrest

SOUTH WINDSOR — A 37-year-old woman was arrested Thursday evening after she allegedly interfered with officers while they were executing an arrest warrant, according to the South Windsor Police Department.

Paulina Z. Misztal of South Windsor was taken into custody at approximately 5:30 p.m. after she reportedly pushed and grabbed officers as they attempted to arrest a subject on domestic violence and motor vehicle charges.

The incident occurred while South Windsor police were assisting officers from the Newington Police Department.

Misztal was processed and released on a $2,000 non-surety bond.

She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. The individual subject to the arrest warrant was safely apprehended by Newington PD.

Sergeant Mark Cleverdon, Public Information Officer for the South Windsor Police Department, provided the details of the incident.
