CRAFTSBURY — Vermont State Police responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on Creek Road at 9:43 p.m., where they arrested Raymond Stevens-Reil, 35, on charges of domestic assault and unlawful trespass.

Authorities said Stevens-Reil, a Craftsbury resident, caused bodily injury to a family member.

Following the investigation, he was transported to the Derby barracks for processing.

Stevens-Reil was later lodged at the Northern State Correctional Facility after failing to post the $500 bail set by the court.

Stevens-Reil is scheduled to appear in Orleans Superior Court on Jan. 3 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.

In line with policy, the Vermont State Police did not release the name of the victim.
