ANSONIA — The Ansonia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in finding 14-year-old Leah Ortiz, a juvenile who ran away and was last seen on Jan. 2 near Arch Street and Howard Avenue.
Leah is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes and brown and red hair.
The search for Leah has been ongoing since her disappearance, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in locating her safely.
Individuals with any knowledge about Leah’s whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Ansonia Police Department at 203-735-1885.
The police have not released any further details about the circumstances of Leah’s disappearance.
