PORTSMOUTH — Several car break-ins were reported yesterday in the area of Hedly Street and Long Meadow Road, prompting Portsmouth Police to remind residents to take precautions to safeguard their belongings.
In a statement released by the department, they advised the community to always lock their vehicles, remove any valuables, and to try to park in well-lit areas to deter potential thieves.
Authorities are asking anyone who notices suspicious behavior to report it immediately.
