Woman arrested for drug possession, violating release conditions in Randolph

RANDOLPH — Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Royalton Barracks apprehended a Bethel woman late Sunday night after a traffic stop led to the discovery of narcotics and a breach of her release conditions.

At approximately 10:59 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on South Main Street near Maple Street.

During the stop, they encountered Andrea L.

Veroneau, 36, and an investigation revealed she was not complying with her conditions of release.

Further inspection found Veroneau in possession of regulated drugs.

Veroneau was taken into custody and processed at the Royalton Barracks.

She received a flash citation to appear at the Orange County Superior Court on Dec. 30 at 12:30 a.m. Following the court appearance, she was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.
