RUTLAND — A transient woman was arrested on Thursday morning for violating an abuse prevention order and for having active in-state warrants, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a call at a Barnes Street residence at about 11:32 a.m. where they determined that Brandi Munger, 33, had violated the order.
Munger was taken into custody without incident and transported to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
She is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, on Dec. 30 at 12:30 p.m.
Further details about the violation or the nature of the warrants were not immediately available.
The state police continue to investigate the incident.
