DERRY — A single-vehicle rollover crash on Windham Road claimed the life of a Derry woman late Sunday night.
Derry Police responded to the scene near 115 Windham Road at about 10:06 p.m. after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Betzabe Berk of Chester trapped inside her overturned car.
Berk, the car’s driver and only occupant, had sustained significant injuries.
Emergency personnel from the Derry Fire Department promptly transported her to Parkland Medical Center for treatment.
Despite efforts to save her, Berk succumbed to her injuries at the hospital shortly after her arrival.
The Derry Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
