DERBY –– Community National Bank (CNB) CEO Kathryn Austin recently announced the promotion of Andrew Plante to Compliance Officer. Plante began his career in banking in 2007. He will celebrate his 10-year anniversary with CNB in February.
“I look forward to working with all the bank staff to continue to protect the bank as we grow and evolve,” Plante said.
Plante joined CNB in 2015 as a Teller in the Derby office. He then took the position as a Loan Processor until 2017 when he joined the Compliance department. Plante earned a Compliance Certification through Community Banker University’s Compliance Institute at Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).
He has a certificate in Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance from American Bankers Association (ABA) and Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance (CFTEA). Plante has also attended multiple M&M Compliance Schools and ABA conferences.
Plante makes his home in Barton with his wife Shaylyn and their three children. He enjoys coaching and watching his children’s sporting events, spending time with his wife and children and volunteering as the Treasurer of Lake Region Youth Baseball and Softball.
