Woman sustains minor injuries in crash in Coventry

COVENTRY — A one-vehicle accident on Glen Road resulted in minor injuries for a local woman on Christmas Day.

Vermont State Police reported to the scene of the crash shortly after 2 p.m. where they discovered Mandi-Rae Perry, 34, of Brownington, had lost control of her 2013 Nissan Rogue.

Perry, who was wearing her seat belt, veered off the right side of the mostly dry road, which had occasional thin snow cover, and collided with a tree.

Perry sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported to North Country Hospital by Newport EMS.

The front end of the vehicle was damaged in the crash.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and no further information has been released at this time.
