HANCOCK — A Middlebury woman was charged with negligent operation and reckless endangerment after a custody dispute escalated into a road rage incident on Christmas Day, according to Vermont State Police.

Troopers responded to the intersection of Vt Rt 125 and Vt Rt 100 at 11:29 a.m. following reports of the dispute.

Their investigation revealed that Amanda Rogers-Wilson, 29, engaged in behavior that endangered another vehicle, which had a one-year-old passenger inside.

Rogers-Wilson subsequently met with troopers at the state police barracks in Royalton where she was processed and released with conditions.

She has been cited to appear at the Vermont Superior Court Addison Criminal Division on Dec. 26.
