State police investigate death at New Hampshire Insurance Department

CONCORD — The New Hampshire State Police is investigating the death of an adult male at the New Hampshire Insurance Department (NHID), authorities said Monday.

Officials responded to a call at approximately 9 a.m. at the NHID offices located at 21 S Fruit Street after an employee was found dead.

The scene was secured by state troopers, and an investigation is currently underway.

While the investigation is ongoing, authorities have stated that the death does not appear to be suspicious and there is no threat to public safety related to the incident.

The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending the results of the investigation.
