Rutland Town gas station burglarized on Christmas morning

RUTLAND — In the early hours of Christmas, Sunoco Gas Station on US RT 7 S fell victim to a burglary, with Vermont State Police seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the perpetrators.

According to authorities, on Dec. 25, at approximately 4:22 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the scene following an alarm at the Sunoco Gas Station.

The preliminary investigation revealed that two unidentified suspects had forced entry through the front door and proceeded to steal various items from the premises.

Vermont State Police released photos of the suspects taken from the station’s security footage, hoping that someone in the community can help identify them.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
