Vernon man arrested for vandalism, violating release conditions

VERNON — In the overnight hours on Dec. 23, Vermont State Police arrested 24-year-old Tanner Corbeil of Vernon on charges of unlawful mischief and violation of conditions of release.

Troopers from the Westminster Barracks were dispatched to a residence on Fort Bridgman Road after reports of vandalism.

Upon investigation, they discovered that Corbeil had caused significant damage to the property and had breached several conditions of his release.

Following his arrest, Corbeil was processed at the Westminster Barracks.

He received new conditions of release and was held on $10,000 bail.

Corbeil was transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility pending his court appearance.

Corbeil is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Dec. 24 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.
