Norwalk vape shop operator arrested on multiple cannabis charges

NORWALK — Norwalk Police Department’s Special Services Division arrested a Bronx man on Dec. 23 after finding illegal cannabis products at a local vape shop.

Ayat-Allah Nagi Mohamed Alsaidi, 21, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of substance regulations, following a search warrant executed at Wally’s Convenience and Tobacco/Smoke Shop located at 336 Westport Ave.

Alsaidi, who had been staying at the store for the past two weeks, faces additional charges of illegal sale of cannabis related to a separate case.

Police seized many illegal cannabis products from the premises during the search.

Bond for Alsaidi was set at $5,000 for each case.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7.
