BRADLEY — A routine traffic stop by Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Dec. 22 led to the arrest of two Bradley men on outstanding warrants and drug charges.
At approximately 2:45 p.m., deputies pulled over a black Mercedes driven by Roger Black, 47, after recognizing that he had a suspended license and an active warrant for his arrest related to a failure to appear for a previous criminal traffic offense.
During the stop, the passenger, Noah Harris, 23, was also identified as having an outstanding warrant and two active sets of bail conditions.
Both men were arrested on their warrants without incident.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of crack cocaine and substances suspected to be fentanyl.
Harris now faces additional charges including Unlawful Possession of Schedule W Drugs, a class D offense, and Violation of Conditional Release, a class E offense.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office has not released further details on the amount of drugs seized or the court dates for the accused.
The investigation is ongoing.
