Rockingham man arrested on DUI charges after Route 5 crash

ROCKINGHAM — A New Hampshire man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a vehicle crash on US Route 5 on Dec. 21.

Vermont State Police responded to the incident at approximately 12:37 p.m. where they found 39-year-old Kyle Arie, from Chichester, New Hampshire, had been involved in the collision.

The investigation by troopers from the Westminster Barracks revealed that Arie was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Arie was taken into custody and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

Following his arrest, he was released with a citation to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Jan. 28 at 8:30 a.m. to face the DUI charge.
