PROVIDENCE — A Massachusetts man turned himself in at the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks on Saturday, Dec. 21, on charges including property fraud and forgery.
Paul Baccari, 59, of Plymouth, was apprehended at 4 p.m. following an affidavit and arrest warrant for obtaining property by false pretenses greater than $10,000 and general forgery and counterfeiting.
After the arrest, Baccari was processed, arraigned and released with a scheduled appearance at the Third Division District Court.
In a separate incident early Sunday, Dec. 22, Phow Him, 24, of Warwick, was arrested at 12:54 a.m. after a vehicle stop on Route 146 North in Providence.
Him faced a bench warrant for failing to appear for arraignment on a fireworks possession charge.
He was processed and released on his own recognizance, with a future court date at the Sixth Division District Court.
