Four arrested in connection with Worcester fatal shooting

WORCESTER — Four individuals have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Dorchester Street in the early hours of December 16, according to the Worcester Police Department.

Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. to reports of gunshots at 58 Dorchester St. Upon arrival, they found a male victim in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to a local hospital but later died from his injuries.

After an investigation, detectives identified and developed probable cause to arrest Adrian Rodriguez, born Aug. 2, 1991; Dylan Driscoll, born June 16, 2005; and Darius Perkins, born Feb. 15, 2004, all for armed assault with the intent to murder.

A fourth individual, a juvenile whose name has not been released, was also charged with the same offense.

Dylan Driscoll was apprehended in New Jersey on a warrant for armed assault with the intent to murder by the Hardyston Township Police Department.

Rodriguez, Perkins, and the juvenile were arrested in Fitchburg through a joint operation involving the U.S.

Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, the State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS), Fitchburg Police Department, Leominster Police Department, and Worcester Police Department.
