WAREHAM — A woman with seven outstanding arrest warrants was apprehended Tuesday after allegedly shoplifting from a Target store in Wareham.
Amanda Manning, 37, of Middleboro, Mass., fled the store at 2421 Cranberry Highway around 2:45 p.m. before police arrived, according to the Wareham Police Department.
Officers located Manning attempting to hide in the backseat of a vehicle that had left the scene.
She was taken into custody on the existing warrants.
Manning is being held without bail.
The shoplifting incident remains under investigation by the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
