BRATTLEBORO — A monthlong investigation led to the arrest of a local man on multiple drug charges and violations of court-ordered conditions, authorities said Thursday.
Adam Michael Matyas, 48, of Brattleboro, was taken into custody Dec. 19 by detectives from the Vermont State Police Narcotics Investigation Unit.
He faces charges of selling fentanyl, two counts of selling cocaine, and 10 counts of violating court-ordered conditions of release.
Investigators allege Matyas had been selling fentanyl and cocaine in the Brattleboro area throughout December.
Matyas was ordered held on $30,000 bail due to the new charges and an outstanding arrest warrant.
He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
The Brattleboro Police Department also holds charges related to this arrest, according to state police.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and declined to release further details.
