QUINCY — Police seized over 390 grams of suspected cocaine and multiple firearms in a coordinated raid Tuesday, leading to the arrest of a local man on drug and weapons charges.
Detectives from the Quincy Police Department’s Drug Control Unit executed simultaneous search warrants at 9:30 a.m. on a Curtis Street residence and a Liberty Street storage unit, the department said in a statement.
At the storage unit, officers found approximately 341 grams of a white powder believed to be cocaine, along with two .40-caliber Glock handguns.
One firearm had an obliterated serial number, while the other contained a large-capacity magazine with 22 rounds.
The residential search yielded an additional 51 grams of suspected cocaine and a loaded .45-caliber Glock 30S handgun with a 12-round large-capacity magazine.
Police estimate the total street value of the seized cocaine at $40,000.
Curtis Sullivan, 36, of Curtis Street, was arrested at his home and taken to police headquarters for booking.
He was later arraigned in Quincy District Court on multiple firearms and narcotics charges.
The investigation was part of an ongoing effort to combat narcotics sales in the area, according to police.
