BELCHERTOWN — Local and state authorities launched a search operation Tuesday for a missing man in the Hamilton Street area of Belchertown.
Robert Williams was reported missing from the vicinity, according to the Belchertown Police Department.
Williams is described as 6 feet tall with a black beard.
He was last seen wearing a white hoodie, a black winter coat, and black sneakers.
The Belchertown Police Department, Belchertown Fire Department, and Massachusetts State Police are conducting the search.
Officials are urging anyone with information about Williams’ whereabouts to contact the Belchertown Police Department at 413-596-3837.
Authorities have not disclosed when Williams was last seen or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
The search operation is ongoing, and officials have not provided a timeline for how long it may continue.
