Lewiston police seek help identifying shooting suspects

LEWISTON — Lewiston Police Department investigators worked tirelessly through the night and into the early morning, analyzing evidence and reviewing surveillance footage related to a recent shooting.

The department is now reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying suspects connected to the incident.

The victim of the shooting, identified as 36-year-old Mickiel James of Livermore Falls, is currently hospitalized at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC).

His condition has been upgraded to stable, authorities reported.

During the investigation, police have gathered dozens of pieces of evidence and have spent hours examining video recordings from the area.

Officers continue to interview witnesses to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.

The Lewiston Police are asking for the community’s help in identifying individuals captured in images related to the case.
