SOUTH HADLEY — A Springfield woman charged with a December bank robbery in South Hadley pleaded not guilty to armed robbery and making a bomb threat in Eastern Hampshire District Court today.
Rosa Murillo, 26, faced the court following her arrest on Friday night by Amtrack Police in Springfield.
The charges relate to a Dec. 11 incident at the Westfield Bank on Willimansett Street, where Murillo allegedly committed the robbery.
The arrest concluded a multi-department investigation involving the South Hadley Police Department, along with Chicopee and Holyoke Police, the Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services Section, the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, and the Amtrack Police Department.
Murillo was held without bail under the dangerousness statute, a decision supported by the gravity of the charges.
